611X is an adult male Bewick Swan breeding with 4 cygnets in Baidarata Bay (Yamal Nenets Autonomous Region, Artic Russia). It was ringed on 06/08/2016 09:00 (UTC). His female was also ringed (neckcollar 601X) but not equipped with a transmitter. The transmitter is solar-powered, weights 25 gr, is attached to the collar and localizes by GPS the swans every 6 or 3 hours (depending on battery level). The data are transmitted by GSM network.
